This time in our lives is truly going to go down in infamy. I really don't like to beef and moan, as I feel that instead of making complaints, make changes. Yet, beef I must, and shall. Each day I have to dip in my bag of incredulousness as the powers that be, make decisions that are going to cost MILLIONS of innocent people their lives. The newest shitstorm is this early "opening" of the cities for commerce, and suspending stay at home directives! Last time I looked, we are STILL in the midst of a pandemic! One that's CLEARLY, HIGHLY contagious, as the daily death toll continues to rise. I don't get it! Wanna what's even crazier? People PROTESTING stay at home directives that may be slowing the spread! Mugs would rather get Covid instead of cabin fever! Wanna know what's even crazier...no, STUPIDER? The President ENCOURAGING the protests!!! Huh???? Wasn't it HIS call to implement the directive??? I don't get it! Some idiot governor in Florida has freed folks to go to the beaches, as he had them re-opened! I don't get it! A few other idiot governors and mayors are sanctioning the same stupid action in their respective states, endangering the lives of thousands. I don't get it! Bootleg and money-grubbing pastors opening up their churches and having service...in the midst of a pandemic! Say what??? Where's the wisdom? Where's the concern for the lives, health and well-being of the congregation? All they're thinking about is the collection plate! I don't get it! This president and his rogue's gallery of white-collar criminals are doing all that they can to decimate this country, and the scariest thing about it is the total apathy exhibited. If things keep going this way, the U.S. will be a 3rd world country by November! I know, I'm being a bit dramatic, but let's keep it real; funding for essential programs are being cut, and the money is being funneled...where? Good question. Our elders are suffering and transitioning in nursing homes at an unbelievable rate. Life-saving equipment and apparatuses are either in short supply, not available, or, because of some bullshit red tape, being held up. What the hell's going on in this piece, FAMILY??? So many theories being spieled, but the obvious thing is this; the people have been deemed expendable, and despite the crimes committed by this so-called "leader", & his cronies, he still has STILL has blind, glassy-eyed followers! Minions robotically following a fool, who's claim to fame is having money. Having money, and EARNING money are two entirely different things. These fools are going to follow him faithfully, as if he's gonna fatten their bank accounts on sight. They'll find out in due time that when the Adversary is done with you, you're dismissed.
This is not a state of unity, unfortunately. We all need to be on one accord. Like-minded with survival being the main goal, because this disease is not selective. It doesn't check your bank accounts and assets to see if you're elite or not. ALL classes, ALL walks of life, ALL colors, ALL genders ALL ages can be invited to the Covid party! Why can't folks see this? This short-sightedness, and blatant ignorance infuriate me to no end, family. If so many lives weren't needlessly sacrificed, I probably wouldn't be as troubled, but we're close to losing 50,000 souls. Let's do better, family. Not one person is more privileged than the other. Let's remember, and respect the fact that Yah loves us all EQUALLY, and when all is said and done, we're all that we have.
Let's look out for one another, family. Let's do better. Life has no reset button.
