I usually don't give in to negativity (and, don't worry... I'm not about to...if I sell out, I gets the hell out!), but I've gotta tell you, family. I'm not a big fan of this era. At all. The air of negativity is so thick, it's almost tangible. Aside from politics, which these days, is ALWAYS negative, people seem more and more resigned to accept this "Fad of Negativity", much like accepting a CLEARLY poorly tailored suit, and with a shrug of the shoulders saying, "It ain't that bad.". Blatant disregard and disrespect are being tolerated, and in some instances, celebrated! It absolutely astounds me, some of the ways people are addressing one another, and what they're saying! Mind you, I'm not a milquetoast, or shrinking violet, not by any stretch of the imagination, but respect, proper manners, and civility are paramount with me. I give it indiscriminately, but can withdraw it the moment it's not appreciated.
We all want a peaceful, fruitful life, and for the most part, we walk in peace. Yet it seems that the select few that choose to indulge in negativity are affecting the majority of us who don't. At every turn, it seems, a soldier of positivity is taken out before their work is completed, celebrated posthumously! History has shown this to be true. Approaching their greatest work, their candle is suddenly snuffed out! Why is this travesty repeated, and worse, accepted as part of the program and package? We ALL have to do better, and take a stand. We are ALL intelligent enough to know that if it stinks, it's probably bad. No, some things cannot be buffed out, and no, will not come out in the wash. If excellence is what you desire and deserve, CLAIM that, and don't settle for less! Don't let mediocrity, and negativity be shoved down your throat. I'm not just speaking in terms of material. I'm speaking in terms of LIFE. If you're being mistreated, or under-treated, let it be known, and make the necessary adjustments to balance the scales. Addition by subtraction, if necessary. Let love be your beacon in an increasingly darkening world. We CAN do BETTER, family. I have faith in you... I have faith in US.
Sac's deflated, y'all. With the gifts that you've been blessed with, PLEASE make it your business to uplift, and inspire. Make a change, and a difference in someone else's life. There's someone out there paddling furiously in a boat with a hole in it.
